Buy Instagram followers for a new account

A fresh profile with zero followers is a hard sell. Here is how to set a new account up properly, when to add followers, and how small to start.

The empty-profile problem

Every account starts at zero, but visitors don't think about that. They tap your name, see a follower count in single figures, and quietly decide to come back later. Most never do. A new account has to win people over without the one signal that tells them other people already find it worth following.

That is the situation a small follower package is built for. If you buy Instagram followers for a new account, you are not trying to look famous. You are trying to look started, so the people who find you judge your posts rather than an empty number.

Set the profile up before you order

Followers arriving on a blank profile look stranger than no followers at all. Spend an evening on the basics first:

  • Pick a username you will keep. Deliveries are tied to it, and changing it mid-order breaks the link. Short, easy to spell and the same as your other handles is ideal.
  • Add a clear profile photo. A face for a personal or creator account, a logo for a brand. It shows at a tiny size, so keep it simple and high-contrast.
  • Write a bio that says what you post. One line about who you are, one about what people get by following, and a link if you have one.
  • Post six to nine times. That fills the first two or three rows of your grid, enough for a visitor to get a feel for your style. Mix photos, carousels and at least one reel.
  • Create a couple of highlights. Story highlights sit right under your bio. "About", "Work" or "Behind the scenes" makes the profile feel established.

Give the account a little time first

There is no magic waiting period, and anyone quoting you an exact number of days is guessing. But it is sensible caution not to order on the same afternoon you sign up. Use the account normally for a while: follow some accounts in your niche, like and comment on their posts, post a few times and reply to anyone who interacts.

That way the account has some ordinary activity behind it before the follower count starts moving, and the new followers land on a profile that already looks lived in.

How big should a first order be?

For a new account, smaller is better. Going from 12 followers to 10,000 overnight looks odd to visitors and does nothing for you that a few hundred wouldn't. As a rough guide:

PackagePriceGood for
100 followers£3.99Just getting off zero; trying the service
250 followers£5.99A comfortable first order for most new profiles
500 followers£9.99A new account with a fuller grid that is already posting regularly

Orders of this size usually start within minutes and finish the same day.

Stack small orders as you post

Rather than one big order, add a small package every so often as your grid grows. Ten posts and 250 followers looks balanced. Thirty posts and 1,000 followers looks balanced. Six posts and 5,000 does not. Keeping the follower count roughly in step with how much you have posted is the simplest way to keep the profile believable.

Our pricing guide shows how the cost per follower falls on larger packages, which matters once you are past the starting stage.

Keep it public, keep the username

Your account must stay public until delivery finishes, and it should stay public afterwards if you want the 30-day refill to apply. Switching to private or changing your username are the two things the refill can't cover. If you want a private personal account, keep it separate from the one you are growing.

What actually grows a new account

A follower package fixes the first impression. It won't bring likes, comments or reach on its own. The habits that do:

  • Post on a schedule you can keep. Two or three times a week, every week, beats a burst of ten posts and then silence.
  • Lean on reels. They are the format most likely to be shown to people who don't follow you yet.
  • Reply to every comment early on. Conversations under your posts are a good sign to new visitors and keep people coming back.
  • Engage in your niche. Thoughtful comments on bigger accounts in your area are how people discover you.

Questions, answered

New account questions

How soon after creating an account can I order followers?
Technically you can order as soon as the account is public and has a username you are happy with. We suggest waiting until you have posted a handful of times and used the account normally for a little while, so the new followers land on a profile that already looks lived in. There is no fixed number of days; it is simply the more cautious way to start.
What is the best first package size for a new account?
For most new profiles, somewhere between 100 and 500 followers is plenty for a first order. 250 followers for £5.99 is a sensible middle ground. You can always add another small package later as you post more, which looks far more natural than one large jump on day one.
Should I post before I buy followers?
Yes. A profile with followers but no posts looks odd to anyone who visits. Aim for roughly six to nine posts first, so your grid fills at least the first few rows, plus a profile photo, a clear bio and ideally a highlight or two.
Can I buy followers for a brand-new business account?
Yes. Business and creator accounts work exactly the same way: we only need the public username. Fill in your business details, contact button and a few posts showing what you sell first, then start with a small package. Our page on followers for business covers the business side in more depth.
